You need to create a comment node
<xsl:comment>#START-ROOT-CODE <?php ... your stuff
...?> #END-ROOT-CODE</xsl:comment>

I work for a company that specializes development for cascade
server. If you want further information please feel free to email
me.

Bryce Robertstag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/109286762011-10-28T18:35:12Z2011-10-28T18:35:12ZStart Root Code not working in XLST

Thanks for the suggestion Bryce.

Adding the
<xsl:comment>#START-ROOT-CODE <?php
... your stuff ...?> #END-ROOT-CODE</xsl:comment>

didn't produce the PHP code, however.

Instead, the published page has a blank line at the top of the
page.

espanaetag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/109286762011-10-28T18:38:54Z2011-10-28T18:38:54ZStart Root Code not working in XLST

Is this thread helpful?

so. I did not show that in the my example. So < and >
characters becomes
< >
and this should
output the script correctly. Currently, the processor most likely
see the php start and end elements as malformed tags.

Bryce Robertstag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/109286762011-11-22T20:30:42Z2011-11-22T20:30:42ZStart Root Code not working in XLST

Bryce, thanks for pointing that out.

espanae
