not go through the linking process. The knowledge base article on
Linking explains which nodes get path rewriting support. In
general, I think we usually just append the file extension manually
in cases like this, in the XSL.</p>
<p>Option tags aren't really meant for this kind of thing anyway
and only work in the desired way if JavaScript is enabled;
otherwise, users w/o JavaScript on, and some web crawlers, can't

path/link with [system-asset][/system-asset] tags. This should
cause the path/link to get rewritten on publish with the correct
extension. Below is a sample of the change:<br>
