manage user accounts via web services. We would like to manage
account deletions in particular with web services. Are there any
plans to add this type of functionality?

Thanks

howie.hamlintag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/273078132013-06-13T17:33:08Z2013-06-13T17:33:08ZManaging accounts with web services

Hi Howie,

This functionality already exists. Looking at the WSDL, you
should see the following complexTypes:

<complexType name="user">...</complexType>
<complexType name="group">...</complexType>
<complexType name="role">...</complexType>

Those 3 types contain the required parameters you'll need in order
to manage Users in the system.

Are you using PHP for your Web Services scripts? Java? Let us
know and perhaps someone can chime in with an example.

Thanks

Timtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/273078132013-06-13T17:55:56Z2013-06-13T17:55:56ZManaging accounts with web services

Wow, I completely missed that, sorry. We're using Java for
this.

Thanks

howie.hamlintag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/273078132013-06-17T15:39:49Z2013-06-17T15:39:49ZManaging accounts with web services

Hi Howie,

Here are some Java examples of manipulating user objects using
Web Services. You'll want to use the
client.delete

method to remove user objects.

Let us know if you need any additional help.

you referenced (the code where client.delete lives) the compilation

it works great.
