Working within the Academic Computing Center (ACC), the Senior College Laboratory Technician (CLT) will supervise and assist with routine operations, problem resolution, and other assigned tasks related to the support of faculty and students in the pedagogical application of technology in classes across all disciplines.
Supervise other CLTs as well as provide the following services:
- Provide instructional support for the integration of educational technology by faculty with the application of technology in their classrooms.
- Maintain PC and Mac hardware and software and support the general administration of the ACC's computer labs as well as classroom technology across the campus.
- Install and maintain Windows Server software, Windows Application Software, and Apple Mac software.
- Backup Windows Servers.
- Install and maintain classroom instructional presentation podiums including lecture capture technology.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Related Entities, the Finance Manager will have primary responsibility for managing the financial activities of the Related Entities (REs). These include, but are not limited to, the development, implementation and oversight of all accounting/financial procedures in non-tax levy entities including the QCC Association, QCC Auxiliary Enterprises Inc., and QCC Fund Inc. Also responsible for the accurate and timely recording of monthly financial results into CUNYFirst Oracle's PeopleSoft® Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Application Software.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
- Develop and recommend policies and controls to ensure adequate internal control and the responsible allocation of resources in the REs.
- Prepares and analyzes all the financial statements of the REs quarterly to be reported to the Senior Management and entity boards.
- Prepares and manages production of statistical/analytical reports pertinent to financial and operational activities of the REs.
- Supervises and coordinates all accountant activities in non-tax levy entities for the upload of the financial information to CUNYFirst financial system.
- Performs ad hoc reporting/analysis and other special projects as assigned by the Vice President for Finance and Administration and Controller.
- Supervises the Related Entities staff of four full time employees.

ALL LEVELS A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, including or supplemented by at least eighteen (18) college credits in accounting, and at least six (6) credits in data processing, computer science, banking, economics, statistics, or similar courses.

Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Development Director will lead and expand the College's annual giving and major gifts program among individual donors and alumni.

Ensures that community policing standards are maintained on campus. Provides practical leadership in informing college constituencies of the customer service philosophy inherent in the security initiative. Coordinates with other college administrative officers to assure that the college plan is adhered to for securing persons and property and for preventing fire and crime.
- Assesses college needs with regard to security communications technology; obtaining, providing, and maintaining security equipment, vehicles, and facilities in consultation with the University Security Office.
- Ensures that security officers are inspected (uniforms, grooming, firearms, batons and other equipment) on a daily, tour-by-tour basis prior to patrol commencement (roll calls).
- In cooperation with the College OSHA coordinator, plays an active role in ensuring that OSHA standards are being adhered to; may serve as the College OSHA Coordinator.
- Provides information and/or testimony relevant to incidents arising at the college.
- Prepares specifications for contract security services when necessary (i.e., special events), for review and approval by the college President and by the University Security Office, if applicable.
- Identifies campus crime trends based on statistical data.

Queensborough Community College's Campus Security Director will coordinate Fire Safety Functions with other campus administrators.
1. A baccalaureate degree and six (6) years of related experience as a Sergeant or equivalent military experience, or equivalent security force service, or equivalent business/industrial experience with substantial administrative duties, or
A baccalaureate degree in related field of study such as Criminal Justice, Police Science, Industrial Security, or similar and four (4) years of related experience as described immediately above, or
An associate degree in a related field of study such as Criminal Justice, Police Science, Industrial Security, or similar and six (6) years of related experience as a Lieutenant, Captain, or equivalent in a law enforcement agency as a commanding officer or chief operating officer of a unit of that agency; and
2. Related experience in item 1 above must include or be supplemented by at least three (3) years of progressively responsible related managerial or supervisory experience; and
3. A valid New York State driver license, New York State residency, and United States citizenship in order to satisfy The New York State Peace Officer statute.
A person holding and American Society for Industrial Security, Certified Protection Professional (CPPA) Certificate, may substitute two (2) of the three (3) years of the related managerial or supervisory experience described in item 2 above. A similar substitution may be made by a person who has successfully completed a professional law enforcement police executive training program such as the FBI academy, the Northwestern University Traffic Institute (long course), the Police Executive Research Forum (Senior Management Institute) at the Institute for Police, or any other nationally accredited certificate program in law enforcement administration.
Note: This position is subject to a satisfactory background investigation, which may include but is not limited to criminal history review, drug test, credit checks, driving record review, work history verification, reference checks, etc. this position is subject to random drug testing, as well as re-fingerprinting and reinvestigation every five years.
Within one year of appointment to this title, or sooner based on the availability and satisfactory completion of mandated University training, a person appointed to this position must qualify for Peace Officer Status in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Bureau of Municipal Police Standards. At the discretion of the college President, persons appointed to this position must, within one year of appointment to this title, receive New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services certified firearms training in accordance with New York State Penal Law Article 35.

CUNY Start is an innovative college transition program that provides intensive preparation in academic reading, writing, math, and college success. The program enrolls CUNY students who have been accepted to college, but are not yet ready for college-level work based on their scoreson the CUNY Assessment Tests. CUNY Start offers two program models: a full-time program for 25 hours per week that provides advisement and instruction in both math and writing/reading and a part-time program for 12 hours per week that provides instruction in either math or reading and writing. Both programs are supported by well integrated academic advisement components. The program is overseen by the University Office of Academic Affairs in partnership with seven CUNY colleges. This year, CUNY Start will expand to serve nearly 1,300 students.
The CUNY Start Program Support Specialist at Queensborough Community College conducts comprehensive individual and group student orientations, information sessions, academic advising, performance feedback sessions and conferences, skills development·seminars, workshops, recruitment/outreach events and other activities to enable successful program enrollment, completion, college transition and matriculation. Reporting to the campus CUNY Start Director, the Program Support Specialist manages a case load of assigned students and cultivates and oversees their educational and advising plans.
Other duties will include but not be limited to the following:

Queensborough Community College, one of seven community colleges in the City University of New York, offers over 30 programs in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering Technologies, Arts and Humanities, Health-related Sciences, and Education. The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) serves to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning across the College by bringing faculty from all disciplines into contact with creative instructional practices and technologies. CETL supports a campus culture that recognizes and values faculty role; it supports faculty and staff who utilize both proven traditional and progressive student-centered learning approaches. CETL acts as a resource center for faculty research in the disciplines and in pedagogy, hosts seminars and workshops, and leads new faculty orientations. The CETL Director will work collaboratively with faculty; coordinate with other campus offices such as the Office of Sponsored Programs and the Academic Computing Center; and design and oversee faculty development initiatives in support of "high impact" strategies. The Director may oversee grant projects and may serve as Queensborough's representative on CUNY-wide initiatives related to teaching and learning. Directs a College Enrollment Management function.
- Designs, implements and executes an enrollment management plan through research and analysis of enrollment issues, trends, and models; provides leadership in advancing the College’s enrollment goals.
- Develops strategic plans, establishes methods to implement initiatives, measures outcomes and monitors progress to achieve enrollment targets.
- Partners with appropriate College units to apply coordinated enrollment and retention plans which provide services to students and applicants in an efficient and effective manner.
- Administers data analyses and reports development related to critical enrollment issues; presents results to facilitate executive decision making.
- Oversees department budget and advises on allocation of College funds regarding enrollment efforts across other units.
- Manages professional and clerical staff.

Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Enrollment Management Director will oversee the personnel of the Admissions Office and chair the College's Enrollment Management Committee.
Additional duties Include:
- Recruitment of students, including outreach to organizations and communities, and target populations.

- Analysis and evaluation of prospective student data.
- Analysis of continuing student data in an effort to improve retention and graduation rates.

Applicant should have strong background in both Gallery and Museum Studies as well as Non-western Art.
