<p>Without seeing the XML for context, I believe you can check the
count of the <strong>system-file</strong> items within that last
folder by using the following XPath:</p>
<pre>
<code>#set ($pacmins = $_XPathTool.selectNodes($contentRoot, "/system-index-block/system-folder/system-folder[count(system-file) > 0]"))</code>
</pre>
