Bricks in data def

I've downloaded the Bricks.csse from GitHub and started working on adding bricks into our site. It seems there is a sample format that would allow you to use bricks with a page with a data definition (and text fields), but there isn't an associated page or data definition, so I'm having a hard time troubleshooting my code.

I have a page with a data definition applied. I've applied the "calling-page-bricks" block to the Default region. I've copied some of the code from the release-default format in the Bricks site and edited it for my content. Attached is the format I'm working with.

I've been able to output text, but not the link associated with the brick.

Any help is appreciated.

   We decided to maintain these links in the software that is creating the txt file we are reading in.
