Stopping Cascade Server for Upgrade

I noticed in the upgrade instructions that there wasn't a initial step to stop the Cascade Server.

Is it okay to upgrade without doing so? We have old documentation that says to stop the server first.

Hi,

You definitely need to stop the Cascade Server process before upgrading. Check out the instructions for upgrading here.

Be sure to make a backup of your database before performing any upgrade.
