Our cascade instance is running Oracle 10.2.0.3 which is not supported. Our DB admins would like to upgrade our Oracle database to 11.2.0.3. Is that supported and if so are there any special Oracle parameters needed for this database?

    Hi,

You should be able to upgrade to 11g as long as you are running Cascade 6.8+. There should be no need for additional changes to the database.

Instructions for setting up a new Cascade database on Oracle can be found here.

Note: once you have the new database set up, you will need to reconfigure your tomcat/conf/context.xml to point to the new database.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I was going over some older discussions and noticed this one is still open. Were you able to upgrade your instance to Oracle 11g?

Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks.
