Errors upgrading from 2.10 to 7.12.5 ; ERROR [MemoryQueueSearchJobScheduler] : An error occurred while consuming from the lucene event queue: java.lang.NullPointerException

Hi,

I used the JAR method to upgrade our 7.10 version to 7.12.5 on linux and Oracle

Everything went well, including testing the database connection. Then when I tried to restart the new version of cascade, there were many errors in the log file like this one :

ERROR [MemoryQueueSearchJobScheduler] : An error occurred while consuming from the lucene event queue: java.lang.NullPointerException

I let the errors run for about 10 minutes before stopping cascade ( I had to kill the process, ./cascade stop did not work ).

I've attached the log files. Can you help me figure out what the problem might be ? I saw in other discussions people suggesting to let the process run for 15 minutes. I'm going to restart it and let it run for a while. Our database is around 2GB so it might take a while if we are just waiting for errors to process.

    Hi,

    The issue is now resolved, it was a problem with the database clone that we did just before the upgrade.
