We're moving our Cascade installation to Amazon AWS and I'd like to know if there are any recommendations specific to that environment?

In particular, are there any MySQL parameters other than max_allowed_packet and key_buffer that should be reviewed? I have created an RDS instance running MySQL 5.6.22.

    Hi,

Those 2 parameters should do the trick. Since you're on MySQL 5.6x, you'll also want to make sure that you're running version 7.12.2+ (since support for MySQL 5.6 was added in 7.12.2).

Let me know if you need anything else!

    Thanks
