java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space

I had this issue before (and submitted it to JIRA), but it's been creeping back up. After some time of running, I'll start seeing the above error message. Sometimes it causes 500 errors (http://www.svcc.edu/~eppse/jing/java-lang-OutOfMemoryError_-PermGen...), and other times it just shows up in the logs (attached) with or without throwing a visible error to the user. Restarting the Cascade service alleviates the problem--until it returns (usually a day or two later).

There was a setting we tweaked (since I can't get into JIRA, I can't see what) that seemed to help for a time.

Thanks,
Eric

    Hi Eric,

PermGen space is different from the heap size. To modify the PermGen allocation, please follow the instructions here. This must be set to 192M at a minimum.

Please make that change and let me know if you continue to have problems. Or, if you already have this set to 192M, let me know what you've set your initial heap and maximum heap size to.

    Thanks!

I've made the change; I'll let you know if that doesn't fix it.

    Thanks,
    Eric
