Upgrading from 6.7.4 to 6.10
Is this the correct upgrade path to get from 6.7.4 to 6.10? Just wanted to make sure upgrades aren't cumulative before I go through three of them.
6.7.4 >> 6.7.6 >> 6.8.3.1 >> 6.10
Thanks,
.: Jared

...and an additional question as I'm reading through the 6.10 upgrade docs. In them it says, "When upgrading, please install Cascade to a new location and configure it to point to the existing database." Are there not database changes from version to version? i.e. Could I just bring up a new server, install Cascade 6.10 on it, and point it to the database being used by a previous version?
Thanks again,
.: Jared

Jared,
You can go directly from 6.7.4 to 6.10 (the latest is 6.10.1 as of yesterday and you can goto it directly as well).
Yes there are, but they're included in each as well. i.e. 6.10 has all of the database updates that 6.8.3.1 has and so on.
That's exactly what you want to do, but first make a backup of your database to be on the safe side.
Please let us know how this goes.
Thanks!

Upgrade from 6.8.2 to 6.10.1 in our test environment was seamless. Production upgrade from 6.7.4 to 6.10.1 will get scheduled in the next few weeks. Thanks for your help; the upgrade was really easy.
