Out of Memory Exceptions

Hi,

1. How many users can work simultaneously on a single instance of cascade?
2. We have a single instance of cascade running on a 32bit machine with a total memory of 1270MB. We have 10-20 users accessing the system at the same time and chances are numbers can go up to 50. As a result cascade forces me to restart 2-3 times a day.

   Are you getting reports that Java has run out of PermGenSpace? Nearly any Cascade install needs to specifically configure this value or this error will occur.

   Sandeep,

   If you are still running into memory problems in your environment, please attach your cascade.log file from a day where issues occurred. There are a few different types of memory errors that each require different modifications to the boot script.
