File Upload from Image Chooser in Page Edit

When editing a page and adding an image via the WYSIWYG editor, one of our roles is not presented with the upload option in the image file chooser window. Going to New > File works fine - it is only when they would like to update while actively editing in a page's WYSIWYG.

I have checked the permissions of the role and Upload Images in File Chooser is checked. Where should I be looking to troubleshoot this? One key difference between this role and others is that it does not have permission to publish.

Thank you!

    Hi Melissa,

While it is not yet clear in the interface, the Upload images in file chooser ability requires the ability to Bypass Workflow.

I expect this to be changed in the application in a future release of Cascade Server. Please try adding this ability and let me know if that does the trick!

    Hi Tim,

Was this fixed in the 6.7.1 that just came out?

    Hi Melissa,

Unfortunately this issue has not been scheduled for a particular release yet. When releases are available, you can review the items that were resolved by checking out the Release Notes for a particular version.

To see Release Notes, go to our Knowledge Base, then scroll all the way down and look for the Announcements banner on the left hand side.

Also, we post in our News section whenever new releases are available. Those posts typically contain a link to the Release Notes as well.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
