tracked so if you change a folder name, those links to anything
within that folder should be updated automatically. So if you have
a link to a page in that folder on say Page A, the href to that
page should be automatically updated within Page A. You will just
need to do a site publish to verify that the changes are made to
your live site when you republish that renamed folder.</p></div>Pennytag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/23064102010-07-22T19:34:45Z2010-07-22T19:34:45ZSearch for all instances after a folder name is changed<div><p>Hi Penny,<br>
I see the point. My thinking is that if I can identify the assets
affected by the change, I would need to re-publish only those
assets, for example 150 of them; otherwise, I would have to
re-publish the entire site, which is close to 2000 pages with
different publish workflows for different user groups.</p>
<p>I am going to search the published content on our web server to
identify all affected instances.<br>
Thanks.</p></div>Allietag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/23064102010-07-22T19:54:57Z2010-07-22T19:54:57ZSearch for all instances after a folder name is changed<div><p>The only other thing I could suggest is that if there are only a
few pages/files in the folder that changed names, you could click
on the page/file and click delete. This will give you a
"Relationships" section that will tell you all of the pages that
contain links to it in their WYSIWYG content. Do NOT click Submit
on this page. Make sure you click CANCEL or navigate away after
having the necessary information. Be sure to not actually delete
the page.</p>
<p>The method I described above will not give you pages that may
contain the page attached using a page chooser. If stuff like your
navigation is generated using XSLT or Velocity, it will not give
you those pages with links either.</p>
<p>I hope this helps.</p></div>Pennytag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/23064102010-07-23T14:18:06Z2010-07-23T14:18:06ZSearch for all instances after a folder name is changed<div><p>Thanks, Penny. I checked it out and it will help. :-)</p>
<p>On the other hand, I am not sure I understand how search works
in Cascade. For example, I am trying to find a phrase "Risk and
Prevention": when I enter the phrase WITHOUT quotes in Advanced
search, Content field (Match all words, all asset types), I get 150
records and in most cases those pages do contain the phrase; but if
I enter the phrase WITH quotes, like suggested on the search KB
page (<a href=
"http://www.hannonhill.com/kb/Search1/index.html">http://www.hannonhill.com/kb/Search1/index.html</a>),
I get nothing :-( Puzzled.</p></div>Allietag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/23064102010-07-23T15:49:32Z2010-07-23T15:49:32ZSearch for all instances after a folder name is changed<div><p>That article may need to be updated. I am sorry for the
confusion. I will pass the information along.</p></div>Penny
