<ul>
<li>Can you attach or paste the code you are attempting to
use?</li>
<li>What browser/version are you using?</li>
<li>What version of Cascade Server are you using?</li>
</ul></div>Timtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/21297712010-06-30T19:35:24Z2010-06-30T19:35:24ZHow do I embed flash into the word processor?<div><p>How about this code?</p>
<p><code><object
classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"
width="468" height="60" id="mymoviename"> <param name="movie"
value="example.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high"
/> <embed src="example.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff"
width="468" height="60" name="mymoviename" align=""
type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
</embed> </object></code></p>
<p>I'm using Safari 5 on Snow Leopard with Cascade 6.7 GA.</p></div>david.klanactag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/21297712010-06-30T20:15:29Z2010-06-30T20:15:29ZHow do I embed flash into the word processor?<div><p>Thanks for providing that. I tested this code on the <a href=
"http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/full.php">TinyMCE Demo
Site</a> and ran into the same behavior. It seems to be stripping
some attributes and tags - most notably, the
<code><embed></code> tag.<br></p>
<p>I searched TinyMCE's bug tracker and found <a href=
"http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2993412&group_id=103281&atid=635682">
this issue</a> which appears to be related.<br></p>
<p>In the meantime, I would recommend using XML blocks for any
flash code that doesn't need to be placed directly in the content
area of the WYSIWYG editor.</p></div>Tim
