What error are you seeing, and could you link me to or attach
the published page's HTML, specifically where this conversion is
causing the problem?

Thanks!

Joeltag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/85932022011-07-14T14:13:36Z2011-07-14T14:14:44ZStop cascade from replacing javascript characters with their ascii replacements

<a href=

Line: 114 in search.html
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ;

You'll see in the code:
for (var i = 0; i & l t ; parts.length; i++) {
which should be
for (var i = 0; i < parts.length; i++) {

We had to manually edit it on the server for it to work, but I'm
wondering if there is anything we can do in the edit section of
cascade to prevent it from converting the character?

Eriktag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/85932022011-07-14T14:28:19Z2011-07-14T14:28:19ZStop cascade from replacing javascript characters with their ascii replacements

Erik,

Have you tried wrapping this code in START and END code tags?
Please see the following link for more information regarding
this.

<a href=

Also, you may need to wrap each < or > individually with
start and end code tags, as they sometimes can be tricky to
escape.

Thanks!

Joeltag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/85932022011-07-14T14:32:10Z2011-07-14T14:32:10ZStop cascade from replacing javascript characters with their ascii replacements

Joel,

The solution was to put them around each < individually,
which I had not tried before.

Thanks for the help.

Eriktag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/85932022011-07-14T14:39:40Z2011-07-14T14:39:40ZStop cascade from replacing javascript characters with their ascii replacements

Great, glad we could help Erik!

Joel
