Copy Cascade Instance

Can anyone help before I attempt this on my own? Basically, I have our production instance of Cascade and a test instance. Both are on the most current production version (6.7.5) and basically what I want to do is copy the production version over the test version so that they match. Can I simply copy the contents of the database from production to test? If so, where would I update information like the database username and password and other configuration items once the data is copied?

Any help would be apprecited!

Yes, you will need to perform a dump (or backup) of your production database, and then import that as your new test database. From here you can update you test instance's database configuration information within the "context.xml" found within the /CascadeServer/tomcat/conf directory. Please let me know if you should have any additional questions regarding this.
