I've scoured the knowledgebase and did not see anything that specifically says how to expose SQL-based data with CRUD style operations. (using forms, and what not)

Also, does this product have a built in events module?

Thanks,

Micah

    Micah,

Could you elaborate on this perhaps? I'm having trouble understanding your questions.

    Thanks!

Is there anyway to take data that is in a database and pull it into one of your pages that is in the CMS? Or are CMS pages static-only?

    Micah,

The actual pages themselves that exist within the CMS are stored within the database. All structured data, and all data for that matter is as well. What you are asking however, sounds as if you would like Cascade's database accessible from your site (external from the actual CMS), which would not be possible nor advisable. Please let me know if this is not explicit enough as I would be happy to elaborate.

    Thanks!

Not really what i was asking I'd say. Lets say that i need to have a calendar on my site. So i go about creating a database that has events with data about event name, date, location etc. Now i need to create a page to list that dynamic data. How would i tie my HTML inside of Cascade to the event data in the database?

I appreciate your willingness and assistance.

    Micah,

Tying the dynamic data from an external database into Cascade would have to be performed via Web Services. Please see the link below for more information regarding this:

Once you have the data into Cascade, you should be all set. You will then just have to format it and output it to your site via publishing.

    Thanks!
