workflow publish error notification

How can I setup a workflow to email me if a scheduled job doesn't publish because of an error associated with one of the files?

If you need more info.... I have a set of xml feeds that are pulled into the cms and published every two hours. Once in a blue moon one of the feeds is broken. I'd like to get notified only when this happens and it can't be published.
