a template that is embedded in all documents. Unfortunately only
new document are affected by the change. Existing ones have all the
old template. Can this be accomplished and if not how can I bulk

<p>If I am following, it sounds as though you are changing a
paragraph within a base asset's WYSIWYG. If so, there really is no
way to change this paragraph within the WYSIWYG fields of existing
pages other than perhaps using Web Services to somehow read and
update the HTML content within that particular field.</p>
<p>If this paragraph may change again in the future, I would
suggest abstracting that out into an XHTML or XML Block so you can
include it across all of these pages. This way, you only need to
edit once and simply re-publish the pages after you make the
change.</p>
