I was asked to change a paragraph of a document that is part of a template that is embedded in all documents. Unfortunately only new document are affected by the change. Existing ones have all the old template. Can this be accomplished and if not how can I bulk change everything? See attached screenshot.

    Hi,

If I am following, it sounds as though you are changing a paragraph within a base asset's WYSIWYG. If so, there really is no way to change this paragraph within the WYSIWYG fields of existing pages other than perhaps using Web Services to somehow read and update the HTML content within that particular field.

If this paragraph may change again in the future, I would suggest abstracting that out into an XHTML or XML Block so you can include it across all of these pages. This way, you only need to edit once and simply re-publish the pages after you make the change.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!
