We built a workflow thinking it was working appropriately, but alas
not.<br>
We have a case where a user edits one page and the whole site has
to be completely republished in case certain fields were changed
that impact the navigation. But there are some conditionals: the
individual page that was edited has to be published to the web
server as HTML and the XML output has to be published to a file
share. Then the the whole site has to be published to the web
server and the web server alone. I set the content type up where
the XML should be published to its specific destination and the
HTML gets published to the web server. However, my publish set is
sending it to both. How do I get it where the publish set only
publishes to the web server? Do I just add another parameter that
specifies the destination?</p>
<p>Thank you!</p></div>djsediltag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/399162252016-05-19T11:53:51Z2016-05-19T11:53:51ZWorkflow question<div><p>Hi Danielle,</p>
<p>Currently, it is not possible to specify a Destination when
publishing a Publish Set using the Publish Set Trigger.</p>
<p>We recently added the ability to specify Destinations when
manually publishing a Publish Set, and when configuring its
scheduled publishing options, so it sounds like we just need to
update the trigger to allow for Destination parameters (similar to
the Publish Trigger).</p>
<p>I went ahead and logged an improvement for this and attached it
to this discussion. You can track its progress in the upper
right-hand corner of this page.</p>
<p>One workaround you can try is to uncheck the <strong>Publish to
this Destination by default</strong> option for your XML
Destination, which should basically skip publishing to that
Destination unless it is specified.</p>
<p>Please let me know if you have any questions.</p>
<p>Thanks!</p></div>Ryan Griffithtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/399162252016-05-19T17:00:25Z2016-05-19T17:00:25ZWorkflow question<div><p>Oh interesting. Okay thank you!</p></div>djsediltag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/399162252016-05-19T17:55:38Z2016-05-19T17:55:38ZWorkflow question<div><p>Not a problem at all, Danielle.</p>
<p>I'm going to go ahead and close this discussion, please feel
free to comment or reply to re-open if you have any additional
questions.</p>
<p>Have a great day!</p></div>Ryan Griffith
