<p>As long as you keep the same <strong>identifier</strong> for the
WYSIWYG field in the Data Definition, the data should remain as is.
The easiest way to do this would be to go into the XML
configuration of the Data Definition in question, locate the
<code><text></code> element in question, then add the
attribute/value pair <code>wysiwyg="true"</code> to it.</p>
<p>For example:</p>
<ul>
<li>I have a text field whose identifier is <code>textbox</code>
and label is <code>Enter Text Here</code></li>
<li>If I click the XML pane in the Data Definition, this text box
looks like:
<pre>
<code><text identifier="textbox" label="Enter Text Here"/></code>
</pre></li>
<li>I can change this to:
<pre>
<code><text identifier="textbox" label="Enter Text Here" wysiwyg="true"/></code>
</pre>
and since the identifier is the same, any data that was previously
in this field will be mapped to the 'new' WYSIWYG field.</li>
</ul>
