Because Content Types are administrative assets, there are a few
abilities you will need to enable:

Access the Administration Area - required to gain access to
administrative assets in general

Access Content Types - required to gain access to Content
Types

On top of that, you will also need to ensure the users and/or
groups have at least READ access to the Content Types (and their
containers) so they can see them within the content type
chooser.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Ryan Griffithtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/394911522016-03-28T12:32:37Z2016-03-28T12:32:37ZPermissions to change content type

Ryan,
