Data definition collapsible functionality inside In-context editing pop-up
Hello,
Our organization is using in-context editing to edit blocks within
a page. This functionality so far works great for us, however we
have encounter that there is no collapsible functionality inside
the in-context editing pop-up window(screen shot #1), similar to
the one provided by the data definition when editing actual block.
(Please see screenshot #2). For examples on block's edit screen, my
"slides" appear collapsed and I am able to toggle open/close,
meanwhile on the in-context editing window, "slide" does not have
toggle feature and all slides are not collapsed.
I thought in-context editing would essentially open the block's edit screen within the dialog. Is there a setting I could turn that functionality on/off on the in-context editing window, or maybe I am missing something.
Thanks in advance,
-Perla

Hi Perla,
Our apologies for the inconvenience. Currently, the in-context dialog does not support the collapsible state that you see when editing the asset. That being said, making the in-context and edit interfaces consistent is definitely something we are planning with the Cascade 8 release.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
