Set a publishing priority for sites

We have certain sites that need to have publishing precedence over others. For instance -- breaking news stories should go to the top of the queue over other content. Is there a way to set this?

    Hi,

Take a look at Publish Queue Reordering and see if that helps.

    Hi Tim,

Which version is this available in?

This particular feature has actually been available for quite some time. I believe it was introduced in 5.2.

We only seem to be able to get this to work when the user is set up as an admin. What permissions does the user need to be able to reorder the queue? We need a publisher role to be able to do this.

Try checking the user's Role. You will want to make sure that they have the ability to Reorder the publish queue enabled (under Home Area Abilities -> Publishing).
