Assuming this isn't an issue with the Format you're using, you
may be hitting the indexed asset limit that is configured in your
instance. Here are the settings I would check in order:

On the Index Block itself, what is the Max Rendered
Assets value? If you increase this by 500, does the
behavior on your Pages change?

In your Content Preferences (System Menu -> Preferences
-> Content), what is the Max Assets in Index
Blocks value? You'll want to make sure this is set higher
than your Index Block's Max Rendered Assets
setting.

Also in your Content Preferences, what is the Maximum
Rendered Size of an Index Block (MB) set to? You can try
increasing this by ~5MB for each 1G of RAM that you have allocated
to Cascade.

Keep in mind that all of these settings exist to prevent
potential performance issues in the system that can be caused by
massive Index Block renderings.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks

Timtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/379086432015-09-11T19:13:02Z2015-09-11T19:13:02ZIndex Block

Hi Tim,
This is what i checked:
On index block itself, Max Rendered Assets was '0' .. (increasing
didn't work)
Check on Content Preferences - Max Assets in Index.. it was set to
'1000' since u mentioned this has to be higher than on index block,
I set that to 0 ...
I went back to index block and increase Depth of Index... this
seemed to have resolve the issue...

I am just wondering on Content Preferences, setting Max Assets
in Index block to '0' .. would that affect major performance on the
system?

pipequenotag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/379086432015-09-11T19:16:35Z2015-09-11T19:16:35ZIndex Block

In this case it sounds like your Index Block was hitting the
system-wide maximum for the Max Assets in Index
Blocks setting (which was 1000). You should not set this
to 0 (unlimited) since - as you mentioned - it will affect
performance in the system. I would bump it up by 500 (so, 1500) and
then only increase from there as needed.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thanks

Timtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/379086432015-09-11T19:29:16Z2015-09-11T19:29:16ZIndex Block

Thanks Tim,
I will be doing just as suggested. Issue resolved.

pipequenotag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/379086432015-09-11T19:34:45Z2015-09-11T19:34:45ZIndex Block

Awesome. Have a good weekend!

Tim
