looking for an add-in widget for Linked In
I want to create a feed for Linked in similar to what we have for twitter
and facebook. I see there is a page
https://developer.linkedin.com/plugins
that supposedly generates the code needed, but I have signed in and it’s
not working. I tried several categories …I want the jobs board…but nothing
would generate code.
Is there an example you know of that’s working in cascade?
And I realize it’s not cascade, but the linked in part that I’m missing.
Thanks, Lauri Francis, Syracuse University

Hi Lauri,
To confirm, when you say you tried several categories, are you referring to the list on the plugins page you linked to? If so, it looks like they will show a log in button that pops up a new window for you to sign in and grant their developer network access to your account.
When you have a moment, can you confirm you logged in here with the correct credentials and chose an appropriate access duration? I have attached a screenshot showing the login button and access popup.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

It depends on the type of account you are trying to stream with the widget. I can’t find more documentation on LinkedIn and I was hoping someone in the hannon Hill network had pulled this off.

Hi Lauri,
I was going over some older discussions and noticed this one is still open. Were you able to work through the LinkedIn widget issue? If not, I can try looping in our Services team to see if they have helped clients with this.
Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.

I never heard back and it’s my understanding Linked in Changed the API so that it cannot be done. Thanks for checking back. You can close this request.
