Is there a way for me to change the default site of all users to another one? We've recently done a rebranding, and I'd like to change from one to the other.

    Hi,

    The easiest way to accomplish this would be to update the users by querying the database directly; otherwise, you could use Web Services to loop over all of your users and change their default site.

    Here is a query you can run to adjust the default Site for users that have a specific site assigned:

    update cxml_user set defaultSiteId = 'NEW_SITE_ID' where defaultSiteId = 'OLD_SITE_ID';

    Where NEW_SITE_ID would be the ID of your new Site and OLD_SITE_ID would be the ID of the previous Site. You can obtain these IDs by viewing both Sites within the Site Management area and copying the ID from the browser's URL bar (ie after the id= parameter).

    Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!
