Cascade's 'Linkable chooser' allows the user to use one button to link to pages, files, or symlinks. Why doesn't this also include external links?
If it does, how do I utilize this functionality? If it doesn't, is the expected solution to write the data definition with both a 'Linkable chooser' and 'Text field' object and then add checks in the format to determine which to use?

The linkable chooser will accept pages, files and symlinks (ie External Links) out of the box with no additional configuration. Can you confirm you have External Links created and that you have at least READ access to the asset?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
