Is there a way to set up a time date for the publication event to occur? I need to publish documents that are embargoed until a particular tme.

Thanks for looking, Steve.

    Hi Steve,

You can use the asset's Start Date to temporarily disable indexing and publishing of the asset until a specific time. This will not take care of the actual publishing of the asset; however.

If this is a one-time publish, I would suggest setting up a Publish Set to the desired time and choose the parent folder of the files; then remove the Publish Set when all is said and done.

If you foresee needing to do this regularly, you could set up the same Publish Set, but give it a schedule (perhaps nightly) so you can ensure the assets are published as their start date occurs.

As a side note, I see that we have a related suggestion on our Idea Exchange to automatically publish an asset when its start date has been reached. I highly recommend voting for this suggestion if you would like to see this functionality implemented in a future release.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
