PDF output ?
The kb article I found about how to publish a pdf version of a web page in Cascade server, I found this http://www.hannonhill.com/kb/Outputs/#creating-a-pdf-output page which says to "create a new target" for the new output. (Version 6x of Cascade) We are running version 7x and there is not a "new target", what is the equivalent 'target' in Version 7x???

Hi John,
Our apologies for the confusion this page may be causing. Some of these steps assume you are in the Global area. Instead, skip down to step 3 where it discusses creating a Template for your PDF Output and disregard any mention of Targets.

If you're looking for a more hands on example to see how the pieces are put together, please feel free to download and import our sample Course Catalog site which has PDF outputs built in for the index pages.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi Ryan,
I cloned the sample Course Catalog site to my desktop, however, this is a binary of a Cascade site, I am not sure what to do with it on my development machine (I don't have a local Cascade Server running). Do you have an example of the blocks in text format (not binary)?
Thank you,
John

Hi John,
The
.csse
file is our Site export format, so you won't be able to read its contents, only import it into an instance. Are you mainly interested in the XSLT Format used to generate a PDF output within the Site? If so, I can attach that and some screenshots of a page Configuration Set for starters.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
