Off-hand, I believe there are one of two things that may be
occurring (or both) when you submit the page:

The CSS applied to the page is overwriting the column
widths

Cascade Server has been configured to remove font tags and
style attributes, causing the column width to be removed on
submission

To confirm the first, you could try using the browser's
inspection feature to see if there are any styles being applied to
the

element.

To confirm the second, view the source code of the preview frame
and note if there are is a
style
attribute on your

. If not, try editing the page again,
re-adding the column width, and unchecking the Tidy
HTML option when submitting.

Additionally, you can check to see if the Remove font tags
and style attributes preference is enabled by going to
System Menu -> Preferences -> Content. The
option is next to Word Processor.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Ryan Griffithtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/347773382014-09-30T14:58:31Z2014-09-30T14:58:31Zchange table column widths

Hi Ryan,
Thank you for getting back to me on this. It is the first case. Our
IT department is making a custom table for our particular
application.
track down the cause of the table width issue and come up with a
solution.
