Unfortunately we need to do it in a tight time frame.

Does anybody have any tips about publishing large amounts of pages in a short time period, or ways to speed up publishing.

kenton.hankinstag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/25443182010-08-11T18:15:32Z2010-08-11T18:15:32ZPublish large site

If you have multiple page outputs, do you need to publish every single output of your pages (e.g. XML, Light HTML,)? If not, you can go into the individual Page Configurations in the Page Configuration Set and set them to not publish.

If the transfer speed is the issue, you could publish the Site locally, zip and copy it to your web server.

Bradley Wagnertag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/25443182010-08-13T21:36:59Z2010-08-13T21:36:59ZPublish large site

Thanks for the suggestions. We did turn off the PDF output and ran some speed tests. After several tests we found that disabling the PDF output netted roughly 15% reduction in publishing time.

kenton.hankins
