services with respect to Cascade. There are a few things you may
need to know:

Cast is old and is not well-maintained.

You need to be decently good at Cascade web services before you
can tackle something like a discussion board.

Wing

Wing Ming Chantag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/316223702014-03-07T14:38:38Z2014-03-07T14:38:38ZCAST Discussion Board

Hi,

As Wing mentioned, it looks like you stumbled across some pages
on our site with information that we no longer maintain. That CAST
section has not ever been supported and was meant more as a
collection of samples for the Cascade Server 3.x and 4.x
series.

I apologize for the confusion here. This had to have been a
process error on our part a long time ago as I can see that the URL
to some of these pages contains the words 'DO NOT PUBLISH' (so it
never should have been on the server). I've removed those sections
of the site so that no one else runs into this. I created a backup
of the content in case anyone is still interested in viewing that
information. Just let me know and I'll be happy to send a zip
containing that section of the site.

In the meantime, as Wing also mentioned, you'd need to
incorporate some Web Services scripting in order to accomplish
something like this as discussion board functionality doesn't exist
in Cascade Server.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks

Tim
