Expired page assets
We have a directory that stores pages with checklist items for
incoming students.
The directory is indexed and links displayed on a central page.
The pages are given an end-date in metadata and expire as told.
Here's the question. My user is going in and editing items from
last year, putting in a new end-date to bring the page back to
life.
The index doesn't pick up the page edited with a new end date.
Does setting an end date permanently retire an asset?
Is there a way to refresh or update to make it pick up the
page?

Hi,
When the end date is reached, the system automatically configures the asset such that it can no longer be indexed and can no longer be published. You should be able to Edit the asset, click the System tab, then simply re-check the Include when indexing and Include when publishing boxes.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
