Template creates Region automatically
When I create a Template that contains Begin and End comments
around a section of HTML (e.x.:<!-- Begin Header
-->...<!-- End Header -->
, Cascade 7.05
automatically creates a System Region tag, moves the HTML into an
XHTML Block, and attaches that Block to the newly created region.
Is this a bug or functionality I wasn't aware of? (I didn't see
anything about this in the Knowledge
Base.)

Hi Erik,
This is actually an existing feature in Cascade. Cascade will convert sections surrounded with Dreamweaver template markup into a Template Region and corresponding Block. There is some additional information on this page (under step 3)
Example Markup:
The latter will actually name the region using whatever string is contained within the quotes after BeginEditable.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

Not a problem, Erik. Agreed, I actually didn't know about the additional
<!-- Begin REGION--> <!-- End REGION -->
comments being handled.Have a great day!
