How do I get Cascade to render a background image from another site in the current site I am on? I have tried numerous variations as shown at http://www.hannonhill.com/kb/Linking/, but nothing seems to work, ala

div.video div.controls {
    background: url('[ system-asset]site://SITENAME/assets/images/site/play_small.png[/ system-asset]') 0 0;
    }

Any ideas? Thanks.

    A couple of things you will want to keep in mind:

    • Make sure that your [system-asset] tags do not have spaces in them (even though the documentation examples have spaces):
            background: url('[system-asset]site://SITENAME/assets/images/site/play_small.png[/system-asset]') 0 0;

    • While editing the CSS file, click the System pane and make sure to check the box to Rewrite Links in file

    Let me know if this helps.

    That did the trick. Thanks! (why does the documentation have spaces if they shouldn't be there?)

    Cool! Glad I was able to help out.

    I believe this was done as there was not a good way to output those characters and have it show up nicely formatted (and not have the '/' cause Cascade to attempt to rewrite it). Apologies for the confusion!
