Uploading pdf files using display as system name
I'm beginning to suspect this can't be done. I've set up and asset factory for users to upload PDF files to a specific location. To standardize and restrict the system names I had hoped to use either the display or title as system name plugins. Is there a way to append the .pdf suffix using this plugin?

Hi,
Currently, this would not be possible. You could perhaps add the Friendly Page Name plugin which would allow you to add a regular expression to ensure the extension exists, otherwise the user would receive an error.
There is also the more complicated route, which would be to write a custom Asset Factory plugin.
Alternatively, perhaps user training could help standardize file names?
