I am trying to submit a news release on our website, but get this message...Invalid XML: The prefix "st1" for element "st1:place" is not bound.

How do I address this problem?

Depending on what version of Cascade you're running, you may have either a "Paste from Word" or "Paste as Plain Text" option. These strip out those pesky Microsoft Word XML tags.

Another option is to paste it into Notepad (or similar) and then copy/paste it from Notepad into Cascade. I've also found a little utility called PureText (http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/) useful--it does the same as pasting into Notepad with a single keystroke.

    Sandy,

I wanted to make sure you saw Eric's comments above. If you still have problems, let me know which version of Cascade Server you are currently using and then attach a sample Word doc that I can use locally to reproduce the behavior you are seeing.

    Thanks!
