Adobe Creative Suite Compatibility

Support,

We were recently wondering to what extent Cascade is compatible with any of the Adobe Suite products (i.e. Dreamweaver, Fireworks). Currently, we've only been using these (and other third-party applications) to write code that is dropped into Cascade. Is there more we can do?

For example, is it possible to save page edits through Dreamweaver direct to our site's FTP without going through Cascade? It seems that when we do and go back to the page in Cascade, the old version shows and publishes over the newer Dreamweaver version even though they are the same file.

We did notice the following post, but it has been a few months since then:

    Hi Matt,

Correct, because your new page version is not tracked by the CMS, since you uploaded it directly to your web server (via FTP). Unfortunately the functionality you're looking for does not currently exist within Cascade Server, but please feel free to submit an idea to our Idea Exchange addressing this issue.

    Thanks!
