Anyone know what would cause the link checker to return broken on links which are not actually broken? All of the links in the screenshot resolve with no issues, yet they return as broken in the link checker.

Version 7.14.2

    Hi,

The first thing you'll want to verify is that your application server allows outgoing traffic to the internet. If a firewall happens to be blocking this traffic, that could explain the number of broken links reported.

The next thing to check is going to be the link check timeout setting. You can find this under System Menu -> Preferences -> General in the External Link Check Timeout. I believe the default setting is 2000ms (or 2s), but depending on your network, this may need to be raised a bit to allow the links to resolve.

Let me know what you find in both of these cases and we can go from there.

    Thanks!

Timeout is currently set to 5000ms. I will check with our web admin in regards to your first suggestion and reply back.

Set timeout to 6000ms and it seems to working better now. Thanks for the suggestion.
