common.miami.edu ( here we have all the formats, configuration
sets, data definitions and indexes for content type "footer" )
welcome.miami.edu ( implements the asset of type footer )
admissions.miami.edu ( implements the asset of type footer )

The problem that we have is that the index block is pulling all
footers from all sites and not just the current so welcome and
admissions get the footers from both sites.

is there a way to specify that the index block only indexes the
current site without having to create indexes in each site?

Thanks

William Jattintag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/375823072015-08-06T19:54:30Z2015-08-06T19:54:30ZIndex block of content type indexes other sites

Hi William,

As you noted, Content Type Index Blocks will index any page
using the defined Content Type, regardless of Site.

That being said, to limit the Site you can include the calling
page's information and match its Site with the Content Type's
site.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Ryan Griffith
