I am testing version 7.12.4. We have cloned our production database down to test so I have plenty of users. I am unable to log in as one of my non-LDAP test users because it seems to have some locked files that no longer exist. I am also unable to delete this user or any other user. I am also unable to create a new user (a normal users) or use the utility and sync with LDAP. All these event give me null errors.

    Hi,

    These messages:

    Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
        at com.hannonhill.cascade.cache.PermissionsCache.discardForUser(PermissionsCache.java:85)

indicate that a step was missed during the upgrade. You'll want to stop your instance and then read over step 6 here (specifically the item with the heading '7.12.3: EhCache configuration files in 7.12.3 or later'). Once the file mentioned in that step has been removed you should no longer run into this issue.

Let me know how everything goes.

    Thanks!
