Broken Link Report

Is there a way to set the broken link report to remember links that you have determined as fixed? We have links that keep popping up in the report that aren't broken. They are simply timing out in the link checking process. So we mark them as fixed but as soon as the report runs again they are back in the list. In addition is there a way to change the length of time links will process before they time out. So increase the amount of time before a link times out?

   Hi Thane,

   You can change the External Link Check Timeout under System Menu -> Preferences -> General. You'll see this field near the bottom in the Link Checker Configuration area.

   At the current time there isn't any way to permanently mark a link as fixed. I did find this idea on our Idea Exchange that I encourage you (and others) to vote/comment on if you feel it is something that will be beneficial.
