Hello,

I'm working in a Content Type > Relationships tab and I'm when I click the Publish all relationships link, I get a blank page. This happens on all my Content Types, not just a specific one.

Are there any issues with Cascade at the moment, or is this a problem on our end? We are on 7.12.4.

Thanks!

    Hi there,

When you have a moment, can you reproduce the issue again and then immediately attach your latest cascade.log file here? You can find the log file under Administration -> Dashboard -> Logs - or - on the application server itself under tomcat/logs.

    Thanks!

Thanks for attaching that log file. I'm seeing some errors that I believe are likely related to the problem you're experiencing. Can you attach the following:

    • Log files from the last 3 days
    • A screen shot of your Administration -> Dashboard -> Information screen

    Thanks!

Thanks for the additional info. Based on that screen shot, it appears as though you all are using an unsupported JVM. When your team has the chance, you will need to download and install JRE 1.7 from the Oracle Java downloads site. Once installed, modify your cascade.sh script and point JRE_HOME to the location of the new JRE.

Also, there are numerous publish errors in your log file that look like this:

2015-01-27 08:55:24,364 ERROR [PublishLog] Could not fire triggers for job: com.hannonhill.cascade.model.publish.job.PageJob@34beb2ed[id=ee50c2b58c5865137725e12fcc4fb385,destinationId=80ff5c008c58651317cf8e7467db0695,configurationId=ed7981b18c586513162f1fd4c62feac0]: java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problems:

These seem to indicate that you all have some custom Publish Triggers that you've created and they need to be recompiled to work with this version of the software.

Once those steps have been taken, let me know if you still run into the issue you've described and we'll be happy to help troubleshoot further. Also, let me know if my steps make sense.

    Thanks!

Excellent - thanks for your help. I'll see if we can accomplish these things asap.
