<p>I was going over some older discussions and noticed this one is
still open. Were you able to find an answer to your question
regarding syncing?</p>
<p>Off-hand, I think the best thing to do would be to use Cascade
Server to generate and publish an XML (or RSS) file for each end
point (ie news, events, etc) and have the mobile app pull in that
file. Additionally, you could have the mobile app cache the data to
the device if you wish to have the information available offline as
well.</p>
<p>Please feel free to let us know if you have any other
questions.</p>
<p>Thanks!</p></div>Ryan Griffithtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/354882452015-01-28T20:41:18Z2015-01-28T20:41:18ZMobile App<div><p>Ryan,</p>
<p>I appreciate the response. I was beginning to think it was
impossible. Are there instructions or some sort of documentation on
this process?</p>
<p>Appreciate,<br>
Phillip</p></div>pesparzatag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/354882452015-01-28T21:48:12Z2015-01-28T21:48:12ZMobile App<div><p>Not a problem at all, Phillip. It's definitely not impossible,
but there is a bit of work to be done outside of Cascade Server
since its main purpose would be to generate the content that is
consumed by the app. You would need the web server to host the
published file(s) and the app would need to pull in the
file(s).</p>
<p>We don't have any particular documentation, but we do have some
format examples for generating RSS feeds:</p>
<ul>
<li>XSLT: <a href=

<li>Velocity: <a href=
"https://github.com/hannonhill/Velocity-Cookbook/tree/master/RSS">https://github.com/hannonhill/Velocity-Cookbook/tree/master/RSS</a></li>
</ul>
<p>We also have an <a href=
"https://github.com/hannonhill/Example-Sites/tree/master/News">example
News Site</a> that you can import which has can more context for
creating RSS and Atom feeds.</p>
<p>Please let me know if you have any questions.</p>
<p>Thanks!</p></div>Ryan Griffith
