Are there any plans to release a translated / globalized version of the Cascade Server GUI for markets that do not speak English as a primary language? If not, are there any tools or best practices that others are using as a workaround to enable authoring by users who do not speak English and may have trouble understanding the interface or documentation?

    Hi Craig,

Currently, we do have a means of internationalizing the interface and there are portions of the interface that have been internationalized in the following languages:

    • Arabic
    • German
    • English
    • Spanish
    • French
    • Italian
    • Chinese
    • Japanese

However, these resources have not been updated recently due to low demand and the amount of resources and overhead involved in continuing to internationalize the interface. That being said, we do have the infrastructure in place, so if we begin to see greater demand we can certainly consider internationalizing more of the interface.

I highly recommend adding a suggestion to our Idea Exchange for others to vote up and/or comment on so we can get a better sense of demand from our clients. Let me know if you need access to the Idea Exchange and I will send over an invitation.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, Ryan! It's reassuring to know that the capability is there. We definitely understand how tedious the internationalization process can be. I've added a suggestion to the ideas community, and will ask my coworkers to vote.

As always, thanks for the quick and thorough response!
