When an asset expires, it automatically becomes non-indexable
and non-publishable. In order to publish the asset again, I believe
you'll just need to:

Edit the asset in question

Remove the end date

Check the box to 'Include when publishing'

Let me know if that helps!

Thanks

Timtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/334195252014-06-16T16:05:35Z2014-06-16T16:05:35ZAllow Expired Assets to be Published

Thank you for responding.

That makes sense and works. Is there a way to do that
automatically with a workflow or publish set?

ces55739tag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/334195252014-06-16T17:37:33Z2014-06-16T17:37:33ZAllow Expired Assets to be Published

Unfortunately I can't think of a good way to automate this
behavior outside of potentially using Web Services to do
so. The main problem is that there isn't a good way to change
multiple assets' end dates or their publishing/indexing options in
bulk through the interface.

Using Web Services, you could probably write something which
would:

Iterate over all assets in a specified Folder

Change their 'Include when publishing' option to TRUE
(checked)

Remove their End Date

Publish all of these assets

Does that make sense? I hope this helps.

Timtag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/334195252014-06-16T17:46:15Z2014-06-16T17:46:15ZAllow Expired Assets to be Published

I will check out Web Services and see if that is a viable option
for me.

Thanks so much for your help and quick response time. Keep up
the good work.

ces55739tag:help-archives.hannonhill.com,2010-02-09:Comment/334195252014-06-16T21:54:43Z2014-06-16T21:54:43ZAllow Expired Assets to be Published

OK! Just let us know if you run into any questions regarding Web
